Comments for Squeeze, Cosi Fan Tutti Frutti

Cosi marked a definite change in direction for Squeeze after a three year hiatus. The album is far more polished and produced than anything else they did beforehand and probably lacked the quirkiness typical of East Side and Argy Bargy. However, taken on its own it has some memorable moments apart from the singles including Big Beng and King George Street

This is Squeeze not living up to its full potential,seemingly not sure what sort of sound they wanted thepost-breakup band to have. "By Your Side" and "Hits OfThe Year" are great songs, and there are nice spots insome of the others, too. It`s a pleasant album.
