Comments for Stewart, Rod, Vagabond Heart

heard recently "Have I told you lately that I love you". As i listened carefully to the lyrics, it seems to me to be a song of praise to God. Never thought of Rod Stewart as that type. Was wondering if anyone else had noticed the lyrics or knows about Rod''s religious status.
