The song,"How Do You Sleep?" is my favorite of all time!

This is definately an album that grows on you. There's an awful hidden track on it too. The best tracks are Begging You, and Breaking in to Heaven.

Overall the album has a much more 'bluesier' feel than their first but the tunes are still there. The Roses had to make a progression from the first album and its served to cement by belief that they are one of the top three groups ever.

This album redefines the Roses sound and although not as "immidiate" as the first it does have a superb showcase for John Squires talents. The emotion and power of the old Roses still remains and it is a fitting tribute to the original band that this was their legacy to the musical world before splitting up.

This album is shear class. How can two albums be so different yet so great? John''s guitar and song writing ability is second to none, and in saying that Ian''s songs are magnificant. The only problem is that he can only sing in tune on the albums, but I give him credit in that I don''t think the band losses any coolness because of this.
The second album by the Stone Roses is influenced by many styles of music, but the band manages to keep their ownspecial sound, with John Squire`s guitar sounding betterthan ever.
