Great album, but "where the river goes" is too damn long. Anyone with the tab should put it under the the Hard Rock or Alternative DB in the Ultimate Band List. Over here in the UK, tab is $35-40 US. Anyone who could do this for "sex type..."and the 2nd side of core, plus "unglued" and "interstate ..."of purple, I would worship the ground you walk on! If anyone can do this, please send to IO'L@axs.asl.Demon.Co.UK (I know it is a lot, but I hope that the knowledge that you have made an STP fan happy is enough.

Why is this band (relatively) unheard of? I only came about them when one of the guys in my band decided we were going to do 'Plush'. These guys are unbelievable talented! The thing is that it not just the talent that makes good music, it is the final listenability and enjoyment, and guys rate right up there with the best. So just buy, steal or memorize the damn album, OK?

FAR better than Purple. My favorites are "Sex Type Thing" "Naked Sunday" "Plush" and "Crackerman" An excellent CD!!

Not trying to overreact, but STP has the talent and the goods to become one of the ALL-TIME great rock bands. Their first two albums have been great. When was the last time a groups first two albums were so successful and critically acclaimed. From "Core" 'Plush', 'Crackerman' and 'Sex Type Thing' are awesome. From "Purple", 'Still Remains', 'Unglued', and all the others are fantastic, but 'Interstate Love Song' is the best song I've ever heard. Just a fun, hard rockin' song STP will be legendary in about 10 years.

Core is a excellent cd, but the cd single for Plush has Sex Type Thing in a live and swing verson. The swing verson is the best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a perfect cd for any mood...as long as good ol' Scott can stay on the clean side, there can be much goodness to come.

I was lucky enough to see these guys when they were still a good band. Now with Tiny Music, I think they are horrible. Anyhow, the show was really cool and the band wasn't overplayed. As for the future of STP, we'll have to wait and see.

Stone Temple Pilots and Alice in Chains are my favourite bands.I´m from Spain and in this fucking country there aren´t bands so good like them.My favourite songs are Int.Love Song, Army Ants, Silvergun Superman, Meatplow, Ride the Cliché, Big Bang Baby, Trippin on a hole..., Lady Picture Show, Creep, Plush, Dead&Bloated, Piece of Pie, Sex Type Thing and Crackerman. I wish Stone Temple Pilots come to Spain... or Alice in Chains. Them bones, Sickman, God Smack, God am, Head Creeps, Man in a box, Sunshine...are incredible, and the rest too.Helmet,Tool,Korn,Soundgarden,Foo Fighters...are very good too.

This album is absolutely uncanny. The original sound of the Stone Temple Pilots is clearly exemplified throughout. There's nothing more to say but experience it for yourself, if you haven't already.

Core, is clearly the foundation of today's alternative music, and clearly exemptlifies the future progression of rock music. STP KICKS ASS!!!!!!

Stone Temple Pilots are the greatest band. I went to their November 20th Concert in Tampa, Florida (Ice Palace in Down Town Tampa). During "BiG bAnG bAbY" thousands of balloons came falling f/m the ceiling. It was truely an awesome concert. Buy "S.T.P.-Core" or don't buy "S.T.P.-Core," it is up to you, but we all know that they are the best and will remain in that #1 spot. -Austin

CORE RULES! PURPLE RULES! TINY MUSIC RULES! I don't care what any of you wussies say, Tiny Music is awesome, just because it is not as heavy as Core doesn't mean it's no good. You obviously are either on crack, or haven't listened to the album because your comments SUCK! Any true STP fan realizes the greatness of this album, and realize it's cool to go a little bit of a different way with their stuff. No one wants the exact same stuff to come out or it wouldn't be interesting. All I have to say is STP KICKS! And always will.

I think Tiny Music is a great album. You people that call it, "crap", make e sick. A band a incredible as STP is just trying to go and do something different and you trendy assholes have no respect. Yes Core and Purple are great but Tiny Music, in my opinion, is a phenominal album

I just got CORE back...after a year and a half w/out it...I am currently listening to SIN...that song is awesome...I can listen to STP in what ever mood I am in...I was at the Nov.25 Madison Square Garden in NY. That show kicked some wicked ass...AEROSMITH was at that show...It would've still been a slammin show without them...STP is so talented...All3 albums are great...you just gotta have good taste for STP....CORE is still my favorite album...LeTHaLZ :}~(|)

There's all this talk about 'creep' and 'plush' being such wonderful songs, and granted they are. But what about 'Big Bang Baby' and 'Trippin on a Hole in a Paper Heart' from Tiny Music? And 'Dead & Bloated' from Core? These songs kick some major ass! Granted Tiny Music isn't as intense as Core was, but it is still an awesome album. Everyone who disagrees needs to learn to appreciate STP more or open up their ears. Bye now.

Scot Weiland is so fuckin' sexy. When he sings Sex Type Thing, I go wild. I seen STP in concert twice and I love them, especially Scot. About their albums, this is my opinion: CORE = EXCELLENT PURPLE = GOOD TINY MUSIC = SATISFACTORY. And I'm sure that there are many fans that would agree with me. I liked them more when they were harder, cause I like hardcore stuff, such as Deftones and Tool. They've changed their style, so their not my style anymore. But I still would buy every (if any) other albums they come out with, and I still would bo see them everytime they came to NY. I think I've said enough, until the next album...

Core and purple are both increadible albums. But let me say this about Tiny Music: It DOES suck, but not because its softer,and not because its different. With this band's frontman being a recovering drug adict, they just couldn't get it together and pull off what they did with their previous albums. I personally don't care what type of music STP plays as long as its good stuff; but Tiny Music just doesn't cut it. I expect STP to go on to play great music in future albums, and hopefully, this rough time has ended, both for scott, and for the band.

I really don't know why you mother fuckers out there that are putting down their new album are even on this chat line. How can you call yourself a fan when you shoot down a tremendous mix of music like "Tiny Music". If you fuckers out there don't like that album, then just stay out of here, because you don't know what the hell your talking about. STP is one of the few bands in the 90's that actually have talent. Along with Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumkins, (the late) Nirvana, and (the late)Soundgarden, STP is a great fucking band. Scott's lyrics and voice is unbelievably awesome, not to mention arguably the best guitarist of the 90's. Their base player kicks ass along with the drummer, making a very tuned band. I know that STP will be a legendary band,(If Scott can stay off the hard drugs, I don't see why he couldn't just chill and smoke a little refer.) Anyway, STP ROCKS AND WILL ALWAYS, SINCERELY, THEIR #1 FAN.

I think that'a this album was wonderfull, but Tiny... i donna remember the name its real mess.

I personally am a fan of the great band, The Partridge Family But I do enjoy this CD very much!

this album fucking kicks ass, and so does all thier music. I can't think of one song that these guys have written that doesn't suck.(that includes tiny music) sure, thier 3rd album is different from thier other ones, but that style has always been there, it was just repressed by the huge guitar sounds and thick vocals. Tiny Music is simply the stone temple pilots raw and in your face and it still rocks. the difference between this group and others are the songs and wonderful lyrics. they give you something to look into and interperit rather than tell a straight story. they make you think hard rather than mindlessly listen. STP rocks on!!!!!!

This is by far THE best album they produced! Purple was Awesome but nothing compared to Core. Core was an all-around deadly album and i love every single song on the album. Tiny music was deadly but a little too soft for my liking but the lyrics to the songs were really well written. Core is simply one of my all time favorite albums.
