Comments for Stooges, The, Raw Power

E-MAIL: edh@statenet.com
Anyone who thinks Raw Power is a decent record would be pleasantly surprised to learn that the original pre-bowie mix is now available as Rough Power on Bomp records. The bass can now be heard and the indulgent guitar solos are cut back, giving the whole album a thick and chunky proto punk sound-back in '72! Search and destroy can finally be heard the way it was meant to be: the drums are up in the mix and lend the sound of a helecopter's rotor blades for great effect. Look for it. Reverend Ed

I have a question What is the name of the studio where raw power was recorded

My friend owns Iggy''s "Raw Power" jacket. Recently I had my photo taken in it and I wanted to send it to Iggy just so he knows that his "old friend" is still around and in reasonably good condition. Is there a mailing address for James Osterberg Music? Or do I have to go through the huge corporate red tape at Virgin? Let me know a good contact, e-mail victo@compaq.net.
