Comments for Stranglers, The, The Aural StructureE-MAIL: mscxas@scs.leeds.ac.uk The album is actually called The Aural Sculpture.E-MAIL: bruce@ibm.net This album is amazingly kak. Don't buy. Go for The Raven boyzE-MAIL: awhitton@bnr.ca Weakest album musically (sp?) yet strongest in sales....hmmm Get 'Rattus Norvegicus' (sp?) instead! AlanE-MAIL: belknap@pixi.com Why is The Stranglers only represented in this list with "Aural Sculpture"? Admittedly, it is one of their weakest albums; it sounds very dated. My personal favorites are "Dreamtime" and "Rattus Novergicus." Too bad Hugh left. I'm getting "About Time" for my birthday--looking forward to it!E-MAIL: furnell @AOL.com Come on guys. Aural Sculpture isn't so bad. There are a couple good songs. But then again, I'm a long time fan. I like just about every album, although my favorite period is "Five Minutes" thru "Feline." I still follow the band, but it isn't the same band without Hugh. They should have changed their name. What do you think? Is there a Stranglers Web page?E-MAIL: 101332,20@Compuserve.com Please, change their name, actually is Aural Sculpture. Is a good album. One step more in the Stranglers. Career.E-MAIL: keelins @ ibm.net E-MAIL: cwhiting@rio.com Aural Sculpture is OK but their best work is definately from rattus norvegicus up to the raven. They shouldn't have gone away from that raw sound.. but as any true stranglers fan knows...Dave's keyboards and equipment was stolen around 1980, hence the new sound.E-MAIL: p.hil@virgin.net Just one thing to say..........BUY IT, excellant album !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10/10lhblbjk@yfyuc.com A load of shiteComments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
