People like to beat on this one, but it stands the test of time best. Many enjoyable songs. Too bad they ran out of ideas after this one.

I saw them on tour for this album with Whitelion. It was cool. I like most of the songs on this one. It is probably their most pop/metal album and lots of lush harmonies.

abiosca@ehecatl.sis.uia.mx Hi there!. I'm the most fanatical guy here in Mexico City. I also went to see STRYPER on this tour but when Jet Boy was opening for them. The most I remember of this concert, (january 29,1989) was the super sound they have and to have the oportunity to meet them among other things. For fully detailed info e-mail me, ok?, and still JESUS CHRIST ROCKS!!

The title song on this album is one of their best tunes; teriffic guitars on it. Overall, though, not their best album--too much boring slow stuff on it. I remember reading about some flack Stryper took about the dipictions of U.S. currency on this album. They wanted to have the CD look like a big silver dollar, but the government said it would be a form of counterfeiting. Even their original design for the "bill" printed on the inner sleeve had to be redone to make it look less authentic. Does anyone else remember anything about this?

I agree that this album has taken too much flak. While not as good as their other albums, it is still fun to listen to. "Always There For You" will always be one of their best songs. Without the album "In God We Trust", one's Stryper collection is simply not complete.

Hi there! I only wanted to say that this is my Stryper''s favourite album since I bought it when I was 10. I have the LP version!
