****1/2 (5 star scale)-- After a decade of brilliant albums with his former band, Husker Du, and his solo recordings, Bob Mould delivers his best work to date. Not only is it most likely the album of the year (as well as the most underrated and looked over band in recent times) but also will most likely give it 's run as the album of the decade. Of course, the decade is still extremely young. One other note: I find it a breath of fresh air that under "Style" it lists rock instead of Alternative, because, if your like me, I can't tell the damn difference. There is no alternative, just good and poor music all linked in the same genre, rock. --j.teel

The seminal album of 1992. Voted best album by NME and quite rightly so. What the hell does seminal mean... ??? It''s extremely over-used but in this case it was the album that really defined the musical mood of the year. A mixture of the grunge new-style to classic pop and punk traditions. Buy it now or face ridicule !
Sugar is led by Bob Mould, former guitarist with thelegendary Minneapolis group Husker Du. "Copper Blue," thedebut by Sugar, combines melody, noise, and intelligence to make for one of the best albums of 1992.
