Comments for Supertramp, Indelibly Stamped

I think this album should have been re-released. It's one of my all-time favorite albums ever yet alone just Supertramp.

A huge commercial flop for Supertramp, and it's not hard to see why, the songs lurch from the over-long to the plainly awful. "Potter" and "Aries" are terrible and show-up the band completely. The only noteworthy song is "Rosie Had Everything Planned"

I feel that about half of these songs are great songs. "Travelled" and "Rosie had Everything Planned" are very good. Though, there are some poor quality songs.Rick Davies has a couple of good tracks like "forever" and "Comin' Home to See You."

This is their best album up to the release of "Brother Where You Bound". If you fans have not heard, find it, track it down, it's great!!

This is a much underrated album. "Poppa" is a great introductory track. "Rosie" shows Roger''s melodic side to great effect. "Potter" is so tongue-in-cheek. The only track that comes near to being duff is "Aries" and possibly "Times Have Changed". Be warned that it will take a couple of listens to fully appreciate the album, but it has a rawness that is very appealing. If they wanted the front cover to be erotic though, they failed dismally! If you''re lucky enough to see this album, do yourself a favour and BUY IT!!
