Comments for Beatles, The, Abbey Road

E-MAIL: c9353105@hud.ac.uk
This is a truly great album. The way many of the songs run together shows a the true genius of The Beatles. Also, the song 'Maxwells Silver Hammer' is one of the most classic songs ever.
E-MAIL: mu21mp@surrey.ac.uk
Out of all their LPs, this one stands head and shoulders over the others - there's so many different styles! Sorry, I think Maxwell's Silver Hammer is too much like When I'm Sixty Four, but tracks like I want You/Shes so Heavy (sounds more like the Doors) and the whole of the second side are so perfect, it makes you wonder why anyone wanted to record new albums after this. It is one of the earliest LPs to feature a Moog synthesizer (you can hear it on Here Comes the Sun), and this spirit of innovation runs through every second of it. What an amazing album. Go listen to it NOW!!!
E-MAIL: ecrawfo@marymount.edu
Their greatest album! Also the best rock album that has been or ever shall be done!
E-MAIL: mbaranow@conch.senod.uwf.edu
This album is probably the best of all Beatle albums.
E-MAIL: caille@star.ipl.fr
This could be the best album ever recorded by the beatles!
E-MAIL: rhack1@mail.more.net
This is the most overrated pile of junk ever made.
E-MAIL: ponferr@ibm.net
Contains the best side B of Rock album history.
E-MAIL: jlowe@central.georcoll.on.ca
An incredible send-off to an incredible career. One of the greatest albums ever made.
E-MAIL: pjw@ua.nwl.ac.uk
Who is the jerk who called this album an "overrated pile of junk". Does this idiot even like music? I suspect his idea of a good time is listening to a pneumatic drill. I was also confused by the comment that "I want You/She's So Heavy" sounds like the Doors. No it doesn't, and anyway the Doors were crap. By the way, is it true that Abbey Road has sold more copies than Sgt Pepper?
E-MAIL: dfaller@server1.rtc-athlone.ie
Personally, i prefer pepper
E-MAIL: http://www.uwasa.fi/~irl
Too soft, too clean...
E-MAIL: uldiss@pid.bkc.lv
It's interesting album, with classics like "Something"(somehow you all have missed this track), "Maxwell's Silver Hammer", and my fave here "Because". Do you know that Lennon hated this B-side of the album?!
E-MAIL: BillMeyer@aol.com
This is a classic, period. For Beatles fanss in particular it was the first album since Sgt.Pepper that sound whole, cohesive. It sounds like a band playing together again. Unfortunately it all ended shortly thereafter.
E-MAIL: r-wong@students.uiuc.edu
Abbey Road is a strong contender for being the very best album that the Beatles ever recorded. We get everything here, sort of like a smorgasbord. We get sardonic, biting John on Come Together, Paul all over (especially on side two), George doing his best ("Something") and most pretty-ass ("Here Comes The Sun") music, and we even get a Ringo tune ("Octopus' Garden," his best if that says anything). Abbey Road proves Paul to his fullest, especially on the "Carry That Weight" trilogy. What a great way to end an era. Abbey Road ought to be in every record collection.
E-MAIL: scottros@acs.bu.edu
Anyone who has listened to most of the Beatles albums knows that this album is nothing compared to Rubber Soul and Revolver. By this album, they hated each other and had huge egos. What else could explain Maxwell's Silver Hammer? It's okay the first two times you hear it but then it becomes annoying. The Beatles kick ass but Abbey Road is just an average album (for the Beatles).
E-MAIL: ajschulz@hopper.unh.edu
E-MAIL: Meafamilia@aol.com.
Scotros or whoever it was that called Abbey Road an "average album" must not have heard the same album that I never get tired of. It's called "Abbey Road" by the Beatles, the best album by them, or anyone else pre- or succeeding them. You see, their musical brilliance was to strong to let their personal differences or their so-called "big egos" alter it
E-MAIL: ringostr@expert.cc.purdue.edu
Abbey Road is definitly a unique masterpiece by the Beatles. While everyone cannot apprecie it's true qualities- it is the cAp on the Beatle's albums. It covers a lot of the themes and styles of all their previous styles.. essentially- Abbey Road is a pure example of the Beatles (big egos or not) and what their music was about (the fruityness of styles used in the white album, harsher, more melodic styles from Revolver-Pepper's themes etc. Not my favortie but truly a amazing album (especially for die-hard Beatles fans like myself!!)
E-MAIL: ahubbard@skn.net
One of their best. How can you argue with "Maxwell's Silver Hammer", "Come Together", "Here Comes the Sun","Octopus' Garden", "Mean Mister Mustard", and "Carry that Weight"? Their "last", but even with all their troubles at this time, they could still rock it out.
E-MAIL: luke@nexus.interealm.com
I find it amusing that a debate about which beatle recording is the best even exists. All their recording have seperate personalities, it's like debating about which is you favorite child. The Beatles were a group of brilliant artists, and together gave us some of the best music ever recorded. And regardless of the style of song or the shade or texture, every song continues to move it's listener in ways we still can appreciate. Hey pjw@ua.nwl.ac.uk you need to give the Doors another listen, try Strange Days.
E-MAIL: Kaplowi1@pilot.msu.edu
Not the most interesting Beatles album (that would be the White Album) and not the strongest in individual songs (that's got to be Revolver) but it rates so high in both of these categories that it certainly has to rate as one of the most amazing rock albums of all time.
E-MAIL: tmorgan@grfn.org
Great album. Everysong is strong. And the Doors we're not crap; they along with the Beatles were the greatest of the 60's.
E-MAIL: civrs1@pp.hw.ac.uk
Why the fuck is not there a 10.0 in the rating? If this album does not get it who will? Im fed up with choosing the best album-song-singer..... of the beatles. If you really love The Beatles you cannot choose
E-MAIL: recc6@interserv.com
The guitar riffs in The End are some of the best rock sounds ever created. They seem to me to be the first truly "hard rock" ever produced, proving again the Fab Four were innovators and creators of new and exciting sounds.
E-MAIL: btengwall@willmar.com
This is a pretty groovy album. I especially like I Want You/She's so Heavy and Octopus's Garden. Otherwise, I'm not about to nitpick and criticize the Beatles.
E-MAIL: ekd4067@umoncton.ca
Abbey Road was their best album because it was their last. They were in a point of maturity that no others could achieve even today (with respect for Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Doors and all the great bands from the past). It was a good thing they split up after that album because it was an end that they deserved. By the way, don't listen to Lennon's comments for Abbey Road's B side, it was McCartney's idea and John was ALWAYS jealous of Paul!
E-MAIL: oudupe@juno.com
This is truley the greatest album ever, by the Beatles or Anyone else, but it was also the end for them. By the way. The asshole who said bad things about John, I have only one thing to say to you...WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU! You sorry ass piece of shit. I will admit that John had his flaws, and that Paul even had a better musical voice, but John was much cooler, much more daring, and much more innovative. So bite me and all of John's die-hard fans.

E-MAIL: ehuntsuc@mail.coin.missouri.edu
abbey road the last?? what happened to let it be? in any case, they are all very good. as for choosing my favorite album, i cant do it. i like every beatles album equally, each for a different reason. if im ever tired of one of thier albums, theres always a different album that is every bit as good. im i the only person in the world who likes Oh! Darling? oh well. another of my favorite moments of this album is the drum solo at the begining of The End. GO RINGO!!! of course, my feelings for any particular part of the album, or any of the albums, is forever changing. none of it would mean anything without the rest. one question to anyone who dosent like the beatles. why are you on a beatles page?? you dont see me looking up stuff on KISS, do you?
E-MAIL: EMNVBN@gnn.com
The true beauty of "Come Together" is in Richard Starkey's very creative drumming. He was one of the most under-rated drummers of that period. Also great on "Come Together": that beautiful by-play at the end between John Lennon's voice and that high-pitched glissando of George Harrison's guitar, playing with each other, back and forth, like watching a beautiful couple dance. It's all there. The Beatles were at the top of their game.
E-MAIL: b62btr@morgan.ucs.mun
children, please stop fighting over which beatles album is (was) the best. just enjoy the music, and if you don't like it, don't listen to it.

i really enjoyed Abbey Road the first time that i heard it w/ it's tenderness (Something) and quirks (Maxwell's Silver Hammer). this album is filled with so much that is the Beatle's heart and soul and projects their true talent. Kudos to the Beatles!

I love the album, but i really think that Octopus's garden shouldn't be there. i mean in 1963 it was still acceptable for the beatles not to sing their own songs. If you need a jokey song (Like Dylan's Rainy Day Women #12&35 on _Blonde On Blonde_) then at least write it yourself. With all that creativity, they should have their own work on their farewell album.
E-MAIL: walrus
This is definitively The Beatles' master piece. Forget Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Rubber Soul...Abbey Road is The Beatles' best. It has George Harrison's best compositions to date. The beauty and intelligence in Mean Mr. Mustard thought The End, makes this album one of the best rock albums ever recorded by any band. This a perfect album, made of songs for all tastes. 10+.
E-MAIL: walrus
I'm not sure, but i think "Octopus's Garden" was writting by Ringo. Next to the song appears "Starkey" which is Ringo's real last name. I think this song is not that great, but Ringo wasn't a great composer,so i think it was pretty well done anyway.
E-MAIL: Abir
The Beatles' last recorded album, and one can cinicly say 'Paul McCartney's first solo album". All in all, best CD I have ever heard in my life. However, I'm only 18.
E-MAIL: d_montag@alcor.concordia.ca
This is a fantastic album! It's more diverse musically than any of their other albums. Compare 'Come Together', 'I Want You', 'Here Comes the Sun', 'You Never Give me your Money' Money'. Also features some of the finest drumming of any rock album.
E-MAIL: I am Mags
The Beatles are the best!!!!!! I love all of their songs!!!
E-MAIL: andrewm@terracom.net
I believe Abbey Road was one of the Beatles better structured albums in the latter part of their career. The album gives a good one-two punch with She's So Heavy and the Mean Mr.Mustard/ Polythene Pam/She Came In Through the Bathroom Window trilogy... I think regardless of some of the group members alleged "egos", and "woes" the Beatles managed to put together a nice sounding album who's music is still listened to by today's teens... I think the Beatles should be applauded for their work and what they've accomplished, despite the end of the group...

A cleverly crafted deception which shows that THE BEATLES were a great band even when they recorded their parts seperately. I believe this to be one of the best albums ever recorded.
E-MAIL: Sarah
Walrus- you suck! Ringo was a totally rockin' composer, he ruled!! I'm sure he's a lot cooler than you will ever be!!! Any roads... Abbey Road was a totally awesome album, but hey they all were, But Abbey Road was one of the best, if not the best!!!!!!!!!!!Long live John(jr.)!!!!!
E-MAIL: romano@sprynet.com
And in THE END there is only one group to even talk about and that is the BEATLES,,side 2 of Abbey Road is the best side of any album in the history of rock n roll
E-MAIL: spades@dhinternet.com
Come together is a perfect representation of what the 60's stood for... the drugs and free love and all. Just listen to Steven Tyler's smooth remake on Aerosmith's Greatest Hits and you will see that it could still stand up as a rock hit today. This album remains 2nd best of all Beatles Albums behind sgt. pepper.

This is truly an amazing record. Ringo's excellent drumming and even the song he wrote ''Octopus's Garden''stand out on their own far better than most people's best work.George Harrison's two compositions are bona fide classics.John and Paul were the best composers since Mozart in my opinion. So what if they had big egos. If you wrote songs this good you would too.To rate this album a 10 would be an insult to them. I RATE THIS A 1000!!! To all those assholes who hate The Beatles but like Pearl Jam and Nirvana shit, you can BITE ME big time.

E-MAIL: Walrus
To Sarah: you suck even more! Ringo was a good drummer, but his compositions came every a blue moon, so this is the order i think they should go: (from best composer to worst) 1)Paul 2)George 3)John 4)Ringo. Ringo=last(worst composer) get it?

Personally, I think "Oh Darling" is the best song on the album, Paul sings it wonderfully!!!

Pearl Jam, Nirvana and other alternative bands are dramatically influenced by The Beatles. How could anyone say that they like Alternative but they hate the Beatles. The attitudes of alternative rockers, not much self-pride could be compared to the way Lennon felt sometimes. Abbey Road is a great album, a very emotional one as opposed to many others. Some people say that bands like Metallica, David Bowie , Led Zeppelin and Nirvana were the main influences of Alternative.I have news for you people Beatles influenced all of these bands. All of any rock band after 1970 had to have been influenced by BEATLES!!!!!!!!!!!!Abbey road is a main example!

This album is brilliant! The blend of unfinished songs makes the whole thing tie together. A masterpiece!
E-MAIL: pokeefe102@aol.com
One thing that often gets overlooked is the brilliant work that George Martin and Geoff Emerick did on the Beatles albums. When he engineered this LP Geoff was only, what, 26? Amazing production and engineering on this album. For only 8 tracks, it's stunning. I challenge anyone out there to try to top it. It can't be done. Look at how far the Beatles matured in such a few short years. Paul was only 27 when this was recorded, John was 29. By this time, they had a lot of say in the production process, but G.M. had only agreed to do it if he was "allowed to produce" like in the old days. A classic case of the right producer and engineer working in the right way with incredibly talented musicians. Sgt. Pepper may have been more innovative and Revolver may have had songs of equal or better quality, but this album is as good as music can get, and MUST go into the list of top 5 albums of all time. Amen.
E-MAIL: previa93
I WISH YOU WOULD ALL QUITE BICKERING ABOUT THIS. I'M ONLY ELEVEN YEARS OLD BUT I THINK I KNOW A BIT ABOUT THE BEATLES. ALL THE BEATLES ALBUMS WERE EQUALLY GREAT. THE BEATLES WERE THE BEST MUSICIANS OF ALL TIME AND PEARL JAM AND NIRVANA STILL DO NOT COMPARE TO THEIR GREATNESS. JOHN AND PAUL WERE BOTH BRILLIANT. AND GEORGE AND RINGO ONLY ADD TO THE BANDS GREATNESS. I'M TRYING TO STAY NEUTRAL BETWEEN YOU BUT I MUST AGREE GEORGE MARTIN'S ASISTANCE IS TOTALY OVER LOOKED.
E-MAIL: KGizz@AOL.com
Ok, let me tell you a little about this album. First of all, this whole album is not a bunch of brilliant Beatle songs. Oh, no, no, no; It's a F-ing epic, for all of you who knows what an epic is.(TRACK #1) Come Together is so God-like, one of the best 70's-90's bands re-did it. Aerosmith, though, I must admit that they can't do a job anywhere close to what the Beatles did. (TRACK #2) Something is one of my favorite Beatle's slow song, besides "I Will". (TRACK #3) Maxwell's Silver Hammer is just one of the funniest Beatles songs, next to "Rocky Raccoon". (TRACK #4) Oh! Darling. Need I say more? (TRACK #5) Octopus's Garden. I personally would pick this song to be the downfall of the Album...Richard Starky, good drum player, but needs help writting songs. Don't get me wrong, I love the man, and I've enjoyed his other songs, but I personally don't like this one. (TRACK #6) I Want You (She's So Heavy), love it, but it's a little too long. (TRACK #7) Here Comes the Sun, PLEASE! I DON'T EVEN NEED TO STOP AT THIS ONE, IT'S A gOD WITH IN ITSELF. (TRACK #8) Because, this song made me cry. That is the power the Beatles have over me. (TRACK #9) You Never Give Me Your Money, I wake up to this f-ing song. I love the change of music with in one song. (TRACK #10-15) Umm, excuse me, these are not songs, this is a poem. (Track# 16) The End is apart of the poem but Ringo's solo is so phat, I had to give him his own "KOODO'S TO RINGO!" (TRACK # 17) This has to be the funniest ending to any album. When I first listened to the album, it made me laugh so hard. I couldn't believe they did that. It one of those incredibly pointless things that you can only love the shit out of. In conclusion to my mighty long thoughts, I hope you enjoyed my thoughts. If you have anything to tell me about what I said, don't think twice about writing to me. PEACE, LOVE AND BEATLES FOREVER!

Many moons ago, an L.A. radio station asked listeners for their three favorite songs that they'd like if stranded on a desert island with nothing else to listen to. I humbly offer the trilogy that closes out "Abbey Road" (no fair counting "Her Majesty," which McCartney said himself that he intended as "a joke"). A perfect ending to a beautiful album and a flawless career (it was, after all, the last FINISHED Beatles album, not the last RELEASED one, right?). 'Nuff said.
E-MAIL: jvanburen@moccasun.utc.edu
this is truly a great close to a great run for THE BEATLES. RINGO did his best drum work on this album. I especially like his use of the bass drum in the beginning of SUN KING. The man should have stuck to what he knew best and stopped trying to do something he could not, like write songs. The only thing that saved OCTOPUS' GARDEN was PAUL'S brilliant bass line. I never did understand why that song was included on THE BLUE ALBUM. But that aside, GEORGE produced his two best songs for this album in SOMETHING and HERE COMES THE SUN. JOHN'S COME TOGETHER echoed the sentiment of GEORGE MARTIN for THE BEATLES to come together and provide a fitting end to the most brilliant run in pop/rock history. This album had an emotion that was not on any of the previous albums. In all the band truly did come together to produce one more great album before going their separate ways.
E-MAIL: E-mail Shmee-mail
I love the Beatles. I've just found out their overall greatness so I only have two albums. This is one of them. Fact: Mean Mr. Mustard is Polythene Pam are brother and sister Fact: The origanal recoding of Mean Mr Mustard was talking about his sister "Shelly" Fact: The song "Come Together" was rerecoded by Aerosmith and it SUCKED BY THEM!!!!!!!! Fact: The origanal recording of "Come Together" said, "Got to get some BoBo (????) he's just so hard to please!" instead of "Got to be good-looking cuz he's so hard to see!" Fact: I can play "Maxwell Silver Hammer" on the ukelele. Fact: If you read all these facts, you have no life.

Abbey Road was a great album, but not one of their best made. The Beatles were one of the best groups out there and whatever they produced was great!!!
E-MAIL: brian.fox@unn.ac.uk
I'd say Abbey Road was probably the best Beatles album recorded. Something by George Harrison has got to be one of the greatest love ballads ever, though the whole of side two just blows the album away. You can clearly hear the excellent musical ability of Paul combined with that of George Martin. It's a shame that Lennon didn't contribute enough to the medley. After listening to Anthology 3 I think it's a shame that they didn't finish the album using the other version of "The End" with the big chord providing the climax to the record. This would have been a much more fitting way to close the chapter that was "The Beatles" rather than "Her Majesty." But apart from that, a monumental album in Rock history.
E-MAIL: Penwass@aol.com
Lennon didn't like the B side because he didn't do shit on it. His only real contribution to this album was I want you/She's so heavy. Not only was this the best Beatles album of all time, it was the best ALBUM of all time. By the way, Paul was the best BEATLE. John was the best overall (solo career).
E-MAIL: ldolton@voyager.net
The cool thing about ABBEY ROAD is that you can listen to the whole thing front to back without touchng the CD player. This is uncommon in rock n' roll, commonplace for the Beatles. Here Comes The Sun may be the best Rock n' Roll song in history. Sobering thought: Ringo was more important to this album than John. Octopus's Garden is terrific. By the way, Pink Floyd is the most overrated band in history.

Although I cannot debate about which album was the Beatle's greatest (why should we? They are obviously all unique; let's just enjoy them...), I must say that this is THE album that got me hooked. Because each song is so incredibley different, it shows the diversity of the Beatle's talent. The true rock 'n' roll classics on the album, however, have got to be "Polythene Pam", "Oh! Darling?", and - of course - "Maxwell's Silver Hammer". A truly great masterpiece, simply smashing!!! Long live the majesty of the Beatles!

Abbey Road, Gods answer to album compositon. There will never be a better composed piece of music in the history of rock n' roll.Abbey Road is my personal favorite Beatle album(and that is one darn difficult thing to choose). I , time and time again refer back to Abbey Road, after my brake from alternative 'nowness'. This album continues to grant me the magic that only a divined piece of art such as this can do. God bless the beatles for in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make....long live the beatles...
E-MAIL: Sfish@azstarnet.com
Listening to Abbey Road shows you just how far the group has grown in just a few short years since Meet the Beatles. The song, The End, is truly remarkable because McCartney, Harrison and Lennon take turns on lead guitar, in that order, one bar at a time, during the solo. Plus it's the only Beatles song where Ringo does a drum solo. What better comment to put a close to the album, the sixties and the Beatles...The love you take is equal to the love you make.

People always cite "Sgt. Pepper" as the Beatles finest moment, but (I think) "Abby Road" was a much better album. It's especailly interesting, considering where the four of them were at in 1969 that they had the vision to check their respective egos at the studio door and concentrate on the album.

I'm sorry for all the nasty comments I put on this website. I just wanted attention and have no friends. The Beatles are great and you people are nice. Abbey Road is incredible and has the best album cover ever. If I ever insult any of you again, don't mind me. the medicine my shrink put me on causes mood swings. I'm trying to become a better person. Let's all come together. have a nice day:-)

Abbey Road was the best way for the Beatles to "exit" the music scene. It displays their creative zenith, argueably. The women who said the Beatles wrote a song that sounded like the Doors, you are a little off. If Morrison and his mates created a sound like the Beatles then maybe I would discuss it further. Side two really kicks ass. The way the songs are mixed and cut is amazing. I might get persecuted for this but musically Abbey Road might have been it. I haven't heard any of their solo acts reaching this height of genius. Also John Lennon was the Beatles. In the early days, when the lads would get into shit they would always say, "Right John, get us out of this." Paul and John pushed each other, in a friendly competition, to greater heights. George might not be the best guitar player technically but he had feel. Later he developed his song writing talent and it shows in Here comes the Sun. Ringo was solid and could play. Ever listen to his drumming on Revolver, amid the heavy mixing. So without a doubt, the best band that will ever be. Even today they selling 20 million albums a year. Live on forever boys and may God be with you.
E-MAIL: pkenobi@aol.com
Obviously Abbey Road is a great album. After 2 albums (White & Let It Be) being pretty chaotic and slightly messy, it was nice that George Martin was once again given a "real chance" to actually produce an album for them. That probably made all the difference compared to previous 2.The Beatles were amazing songwriters and competent musician but it was George Martin that gave them direction and "channeled" their creativity. Like I said earlier, what a difference. Now I hope I didn't offend anyone with my comments about the White album & Let It Be. The Beatles themselves admitted to this fact.

I think that Abbey Road is a great album. I is shurley the shining moment in their music ability. Ringo does a great job in "octupus' garden" That is one of the many good and absoluitily wonerful album that those wonerful guys from England!!!!!!!!! Laters adn this is a great album!!!!

Yes, Abbey Road is one of the Beatles finest moments, second only (In my opinion) to The White Album. All of their songs were amazing. My favorite was the Mean Mr. Mustard, Polythene Pam, and She Came In Through The Bathroom Window melody. And by the way, for the person who said that Let It Be was their last album, actualy while Let It Be was released after Abbey Road, Abbey Road was recorded after Let It Be was made.

If I'm trapped on a deserted island with only one disc, it's got to be Abbey Road. Each Beatle produced his best work. Ringo's Octupus' Garden, George's Something, John's I Want You/She's So Heavy and Paul's The End medley. People, we don't need all this trash talk. There seems to be a lot of hate out there, generated by a difference of opinion. Paul said in the Anthology video that he was proud that the Beatles music mosly dealt with peace, love and understanding. Some of you wern't listening.

One of my all-time favourite albums.....which means one of my favourite Beatles albums!! The songs are just brilliant, like "Come Together" (which, I´ve heard, originally was intended to be the "theme song" of a political campaign), the beautiful "Something" and the very "light" but oh-so-lovely "Maxwells silver hammer." I also love the medley, one of my very favourite songs is "She came in through the bathroom window." All in all, an absolute MUST for every music fan, and if you´re Beatlefan....I do hope you´ve already got it!!

Let me clear up this album thing. You see, technically, Let It Be came after Abbey Road. BUT--Abbey Road was recorded after Let It Be. Let It Be was released later due to it needing to be released in conjunction with the Let It Be movie. I love the Beatles and every song they ever wrote. Even though Ringo's songs are a little flaky and not sung very well, he has a special place in my heart. i'm thinking that you might not value "something" very highly among the other songs on the album. well, "here comes the sun" was very good. but, "you never give me your money", in my opinion, is definitly not better than any of the songs we've mentioned.
E-MAIL: Spiderman
Don't get me wrong, 1 I really love "Something", but not as much as "Come Together", "You Never Give Me Your Money" or "Here Comes The Sun", then come "Something". It's just such a good album, and it's a very tought "competition" between the songs.

Did you know (probably did) that Aerosmith played "Come Together" Back in '78. I think that they ruined the full effect it gave off. To me abbey road sounds different, very different than the previous albums. It sounds somewhat polished in a sense of creativity and talent because this their last album. Now I don't like much Beatles songs, but "The End" has the coolest lead guitar part that overcomes anything that MARILYN MANSON did.
E-MAIL: 1
yeah, i knew that. i wasn't impressed by their take on it anyway. and you're right about Abbey Road. it's a lot different from the other albums, and it's happier than the other albums made towards the end. the part about the guitar lead on "the end", well, Jimmy, most anything the Beatles did blows away anything marilyn manson did. even you know that.

E-MAIL: Heather
you are so damn cool about this!
E-MAIL: Heather
but why did your band break up?
E-MAIL: Jimmy page
Well, my band broke up over fights and harsh words. That other Marilyn Manson freak running around was Rythm guitar in our Band!!!!! I was lead guitar, my brother on bass, and Chris Holloman on Drums. My other band broke up because of many delayed band practices, and not enough time. I have been thinking about playing a gig at Applebees. I have been in at least five bands. All of them have ended because of a member getting power hungry, or someone too stoned to come. Now I might start another band. This time with someone on keyboard. My Girlfriend's band is recording an album at a recording studio. It's an all-girl band, but I have nothing against all-girl bands.............Well, I told you that the other Manson freak was a member of my band. pretty scary.. take care of yourslf heather.
E-MAIL: Heather
sounds like you need to go solo, Jimmy. was that the same brother who wrote all that flo.com nonsense? ask him what tanta mortella bovem(something like that...?) is. i don't speak latin, but i want to know what that is. all-girl bands are cool, i think, but a lot of them just sound exactly the same. what does her band sound like?

I think that means something like "fat cow" or "stupid". If it's not that, it's something close to it. My favorite Beatles album.
to the ass hole that stated that the drumming in come together was ringo, better look a little further. IT WAS PAUL PLAYING THE DRUMS. IN FACT, JOHN AND PAUL WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT RECORDED THE TRACK.
George Harrison has two songs on Abbey Road. Somthing is the second track on the album, and it is also a BIG hit. Here comes the sun is the the seventh track on the album, and our proof that Somthing is a BIG hit is that in Frank Sinatra's words,"John Lennon" wrote the best love song ever! Ha! Ha! Really, the writer is of the song Somthing is Harrison.

Ok, Frist of all to you people who wrote in here that you hate the Beatles and that they should burn in hell and all that dumb stuff well your just jelious that you couldnt be half a great as they were or still are! Also if you hate them so much why would you waste your time coming to their web sites just to be rude towards on them?????? It just dont make since son! And also this is no0t a web page to be writting about your dogs in but i dont mind that as much. Its just the haters if you hate them so much why waste your time on them?????? I just dont understand. Just get over5 the fact that your life didnt amount to what you wanted it to and move on. Not everyone in this world is going to agree on the same thing that would just make the world boring. And i dont care how much you hate someone you shouldnt wish death upon them or love there killer! Now thats just plain wrong!!!!! Most of my friends dont like the Beatles but i dont worry about it alls that matters is that i like them. Now i am most likely younger than the lot of you and i know not to act this way so please come on can we all grow up a little?????? I LOVE RINGO!!!!!! Abbey Road was and still is one of the greatist albums that anyone has put out. Growing up as a kid in the 80's, I didn't really know who The Beatles were. Only what my dad had told me. Thier musichas made a big impact on my life and I am sure it has made a big one on others too. God bless The Beatles. In the words of John Lennon "By hook or by crook I'll be the last to sign this book".
hollynoelle92
The Beatles Rock. You guys know how Michael Jackson bought a lot of their songs? Well I think that he is very very good at their songs, but not as good as them of course. I SAY MICHAEL JACKSON DESERVES A LITTLE MORE CREDIT!
I dont know why you broke up you are like the biggest role modle for my brother, and my grandfather.. I also think this album was one of the best that you have ever made in your whole career.. I have alot of questions to ask on this album, but I am going to look the answers up on my own.. By the way I am doing the biggest repoert ever on your band group in school... I love you McCartney...
I also think you guys deserve more credit than you have been receiving lately.. I really love your last album Abbey Road i think it is great..
to let all of u know something Abbey Road is like the best album they ever made... every body seems to think paul is hot well i think John is hot.. He may have passed away but he was the hottest guy in that group.. Paul was a push over.. He was always taking Johns parts and taking over on Johns solows... So if u want to keep saying that Paul so hot then go ahead, but before u do why dont u do a little reaserch on why they broke up.. Then u might change ur mind.. think for a little while.. Then tell us all what think about paul.. Why do u think harrison killed himself.. people say he was killed but he wasnt he killed himself.. because of paul.. Well have a nice night..
