The sound of autumnal rain falling down on an old English town, revitalising the spirit, healing the soul. Very poetic, or naff depending on your opinion, like Terry's lyrics they could go from straight deadpan to hedonistic filghts of fantasy. 'Like a beatnik love affair', he sings on 'Castles In The Air' and it's so tempting to believe in the image, and be taken away on this trip. Reality strikes in the kitchen-sink story of 'Take', which always raises a wry smile, and the weariness of a love that no longer exists strikes in 'Yours Sincerely'. The folk/pop sound works wonders with Terry's vocals and he did ever sound better, or more resigned than on the classic 'Thinking Of You'. Definately one to stave off those October/ November chills.
