Comments for Beatles, The, Magical Mystery Tour

I´m a Walrus is one of my favourites. I would like to listen to a cover-version from Urban Dance Squad.

An interesting "filler" soundtrack from the Post-Pepper Beatles. The second half of the CD is comprised of singles that didn't originally on the album. "I am the Walrus" and "Strawberry Fields" are two of the most important rock songs ever recorded.

"I am the walrus" is an excellent song. It's probably my favorite Beatles song recorded.

It's such a charming record - sums up my childhood memories of the 60's, sort of. Definitely one of their best albums, even if it's really a collection of singles and soundtrack work.

'Magical Mystry Tour' was one of The Beatles most creative albums. I love all the songs but my favorite is "I am the Walus", as I am sure it is the favorites of many others worldwide. I would like to thank The Beatles for putting out this album and all the others

Great album, but too short! My favorite song is "Strawberry fields forever".followed by "Hello Goodbye". "I am the Walrus" is great too, but not as good as the others.

"Walrus" is an interesting nightmare. Spooky. Out of synch. But it pulls you in.

Though not a 'cohesive' album, this acid-washed collection includes two of John's better compositions - Strawberry Fields Forever (my all-time favorite) and I am the Walrus. Though not in the same league, Paul contributed classic pop standards such as Penny Lane and Fool on the Hill. This was a magical time...

CooCoo CooCoo CaShoo! The album onwhich The Beatles went on to exploid the musical world invented by Oasis. How original. Like if they would ever could come up with a song as brilliant as Wonderwall or Whatever. And after all... the walrus was Noel.

Possibly on of the most underrated albums by the Fab Four, Magical Mystery Tour is an amazing LSD spurned trip through the minds of these four geniuses. It gives us a real insight to their minds at that stage. My favourite on this album is Strawberry Fields, but I am the Walrus is another excelent representation of the variety of music the Beatles produce. Excellent!

"I Am The Walrus" is brilliant. Oasis is a new band who thinks they sound like the Beatles and they do not. John must be somewhere saying "How could they say that?". Oasis is not the Beatles and will never be.

even though MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR is not exactly a cohesive album, its sound is truly imaginative and unforgetable. PAUL MC CARTNEY did some of his best bass work on this album, especially on BABY YOU'RE A RICH MAN and PENNY LANE. LENNON'S I AM THE WALRUS is one of the most haunting and yet intriguing songs ever recorded. MAGICAL is definitely one of the most underated BEATLES albums.

This was indeed one of the greatest records by the Beatles, but then again, weren't they all great! I love John, and this shows off some of his best writing talents. Though they all are great and contribute equally to every album making it the beautiful masterpieces we still listen to even today.

The Beatles song I AM THE WALRUS is deffinutly one of there best songs The Beatles were the start of rock n roll. Everyone wants to be like them. Especially Oasis! I think Oasis is the worst group of want to be's in the world. JOHN LENNON RULES!

Love this album! The Beatles are the greatest! All You Need is Love and Baby You're a Rich Man and I Am the Walrus are the highlights definetly, but I could listen to the whole thing all day and not get bored!

Looking for a get a way to fields of strawberries, magic and trippy dreams? Love, bright colors, bizarre images and flying in the sky? This CD is for you! (Enough said!) It also manages to slip in a few recognizable sentimental very classic-like Beatles songs that aren't quite so trippy like "Your Mother Should Know" "And All You Need is Love" Just a comment that I wouldn't get too wound up in the lyrics to "I am the Walrus." (Re: "yellow mellow custard, dripping out a dead dogs eye") They are very much full of nonsense yet creativity...but isn't that what this entire CD is about!! Enjoy!

I could be wrong but I think that it is "yellow matter custard" instead of "yellow mellow custard" ,but that doesn't really matter. The Beatles were & still are the greatest group ever! As a 15 yr. old, no group has had such an impact on my life. I had watched the Anthology w/ my mother & wanted to buy some of their cd's & this was 1 of the 3 that I got. I really love this albumn alot & to think, I only got this one 'cause of the picture on the cover!

A very underreated album. This album contains some of the greatest songs in pop history. Strawberry Fields, I am the Walrus, and All you need is love are A+. Magical Mystery Tour and Penny Lane and Fool on the Hill are A-. Very few duds here.

I watched this movie all week end I had raed a news paper about Paul really being dead and in there it said that Paul was the walrus but if you watch the movie the walrus is playing the piano and John is the one playing the piano so John is the walrus and he is dead. now any way.

Waters, Gilmour, Wright and Mason sucked and they still do! SYD BARRETT rocked! Sorry, better pschedelic music by Syd than MMT or Sgt Pepper. Revolver was the best i could ever imagine. But speaking of pure british pop on the one side and pschedelic pop/rock on the other , The Kinks and Barrett were my favourites.
