Comments for Beatles, The, Magical Mystery Tour

I´m a Walrus is one of my favourites. I would like to listen to a cover-version from Urban Dance Squad.
E-MAIL: jlowe@central.georcoll.on.ca
An interesting "filler" soundtrack from the Post-Pepper Beatles. The second half of the CD is comprised of singles that didn't originally on the album. "I am the Walrus" and "Strawberry Fields" are two of the most important rock songs ever recorded.
E-MAIL: lufkin@cen.com
"I am the walrus" is an excellent song. It's probably my favorite Beatles song recorded.
E-MAIL: olsenh@online.no
It's such a charming record - sums up my childhood memories of the 60's, sort of. Definitely one of their best albums, even if it's really a collection of singles and soundtrack work.
E-MAIL: Magic@AGT.com
'Magical Mystry Tour' was one of The Beatles most creative albums. I love all the songs but my favorite is "I am the Walus", as I am sure it is the favorites of many others worldwide. I would like to thank The Beatles for putting out this album and all the others
E-MAIL: Walrus
Great album, but too short! My favorite song is "Strawberry fields forever".followed by "Hello Goodbye". "I am the Walrus" is great too, but not as good as the others.
E-MAIL: emnvbn@gnn.com
"Walrus" is an interesting nightmare. Spooky. Out of synch. But it pulls you in.

Though not a 'cohesive' album, this acid-washed collection includes two of John's better compositions - Strawberry Fields Forever (my all-time favorite) and I am the Walrus. Though not in the same league, Paul contributed classic pop standards such as Penny Lane and Fool on the Hill. This was a magical time...
E-MAIL: korpershoek@bib.nl
CooCoo CooCoo CaShoo! The album onwhich The Beatles went on to exploid the musical world invented by Oasis. How original. Like if they would ever could come up with a song as brilliant as Wonderwall or Whatever. And after all... the walrus was Noel.
E-MAIL: bgordon@cybertap.com
my favourite beatles song is i am the walrus and all you need is love.this is one of the best albums the beatles recorded.
E-MAIL: HamishS@b022.aone.net.au
Possibly on of the most underrated albums by the Fab Four, Magical Mystery Tour is an amazing LSD spurned trip through the minds of these four geniuses. It gives us a real insight to their minds at that stage. My favourite on this album is Strawberry Fields, but I am the Walrus is another excelent representation of the variety of music the Beatles produce. Excellent!
E-MAIL: Meghan1@hotmail.com
Magical Mystery Tour is probally the best ever album by the Beatles. I LOVE it. All you need is Love, is my fav. song on the album

E-MAIL: hcleary@nwci.net
"I Am The Walrus" is brilliant. Oasis is a new band who thinks they sound like the Beatles and they do not. John must be somewhere saying "How could they say that?". Oasis is not the Beatles and will never be.
E-MAIL: bgoodridge@po-1.ia.k12.us
Helo Goodbye! I am the Walrus and Hello Goodbye are the two greatest Beatles songs of all!!! Who are these Oasis idiots anyway? They need to be stopped!! BEATLES FANS UNITE!!!!!!!!!!!
E-MAIL: AAlbri1206
I am the Walrus is the best song John ever wrote. Someday I'm going to visit the place where the video was shot.
E-MAIL: hcleary@nwci.net
Who do Oasis think they are saying they're like the Beatles? Great Beatles Album!!!! Now a comment to the late John Lennon *Those silly gloats say that Don't Look Back in Anger is Imagine. Makes no sense that, looking back in anger is silly while Imagine is a very serious dramatic plea from Lennon to the world, while that Oasis song is senseless says nothing, means nothing and is nothing but a nonesensical parody.*

even though MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR is not exactly a cohesive album, its sound is truly imaginative and unforgetable. PAUL MC CARTNEY did some of his best bass work on this album, especially on BABY YOU'RE A RICH MAN and PENNY LANE. LENNON'S I AM THE WALRUS is one of the most haunting and yet intriguing songs ever recorded. MAGICAL is definitely one of the most underated BEATLES albums.

This was indeed one of the greatest records by the Beatles, but then again, weren't they all great! I love John, and this shows off some of his best writing talents. Though they all are great and contribute equally to every album making it the beautiful masterpieces we still listen to even today.
E-MAIL: Frizzy Pea
Blue Jay Way & walrus are the best on this album
E-MAIL: jmka/bennit/com.

i am the walrus rocks! anybody else out there like john? P.S. Oasis sucks!
E-MAIL: Dallas1020
The Beatles song I AM THE WALRUS is deffinutly one of there best songs The Beatles were the start of rock n roll. Everyone wants to be like them. Especially Oasis! I think Oasis is the worst group of want to be's in the world. JOHN LENNON RULES!

Love this album! The Beatles are the greatest! All You Need is Love and Baby You're a Rich Man and I Am the Walrus are the highlights definetly, but I could listen to the whole thing all day and not get bored!
E-MAIL: jakeh@netidea.com
Looking for a get a way to fields of strawberries, magic and trippy dreams? Love, bright colors, bizarre images and flying in the sky? This CD is for you! (Enough said!) It also manages to slip in a few recognizable sentimental very classic-like Beatles songs that aren't quite so trippy like "Your Mother Should Know" "And All You Need is Love" Just a comment that I wouldn't get too wound up in the lyrics to "I am the Walrus." (Re: "yellow mellow custard, dripping out a dead dogs eye") They are very much full of nonsense yet creativity...but isn't that what this entire CD is about!! Enjoy!
E-MAIL: beatlefan
I could be wrong but I think that it is "yellow matter custard" instead of "yellow mellow custard" ,but that doesn't really matter. The Beatles were & still are the greatest group ever! As a 15 yr. old, no group has had such an impact on my life. I had watched the Anthology w/ my mother & wanted to buy some of their cd's & this was 1 of the 3 that I got. I really love this albumn alot & to think, I only got this one 'cause of the picture on the cover!
E-MAIL: Spiderman
"I Am the Walrus" is the best song of all time !!! And since this record includes other great songs like "Strawberry fields", "All you need is love" & "The fool on the hill" it's a clear 9 to me !!!!
E-MAIL: BeatleBabe
Um...Spiderman,this LP is a clear 10 to me. With all the great songs like I am the walrus & Hello, Goodbye & Strawberry Fields how could it not be?
E-MAIL: Spiderman
Hey, Beatlebabe, the album also has some average songs like Flying, Blue Jay Way . It's not a perfect album Only Abbet Road and Sgt.Pepper are perfect
E-MAIL: christij@jetstream.net
YO PERSON WHO THINKS THERE SO SMART, ITS GOO GOO GA JOOB. YA DOOP! DONT GET LOST ON BLUE JAY WAY.... I DID......
E-MAIL: christij@jetstream.net

E-MAIL: LOVE,LOVE,LOVE!
The Magical Mystery Tour Is Coming To Take You Away!! I am the EGG MAN! This is the best beatles album ever made. It is a true sign of love. Listening to this album gives you a true feeling of joy and warmth. BUT IT REALLY ROCKS TO DEATH!!! This album is one that truely kicks A**! Listen to this album for a good time!
E-MAIL: 11FOX@111
in rosponse to Lennon's nonsense on Walrus: You're ALL wrong: it's GOO GOO GOO JOOB. this is the first B album I heard,in 2nd grade in 1991.
E-MAIL: thivier@vision.eri.harvard.edu
True, there was much "fluff" on this album, but w/the Beatles, even their fluff was enjoyable.
E-MAIL: ruiz@readmycrapandwriteme.faggot and pervert

E-MAIL: @fool on the hill
yo spiderman, don't you have some super heroes to beat up. the beatles rule!
E-MAIL: hihat@linknet.net
A very underreated album. This album contains some of the greatest songs in pop history. Strawberry Fields, I am the Walrus, and All you need is love are A+. Magical Mystery Tour and Penny Lane and Fool on the Hill are A-. Very few duds here.
E-MAIL: ruiz@im.sorry
I'm sorry for putting up all this anti-Beatles stuff on the web. I just want attention because I don't have any friends. The Beatles are great, after all. I'm getting better. My psychiatrist is helping me with controlling my behavior. I have to grow up. If I insult you again on this page, don't pay attention, I'm still getting used to my medication. I still have mood swings. Have a great day. All you need is love.

This album kicks ass I love it

E-MAIL: Spiderman

Hey! Walrus is symbol of death... Paul is dressed as walrus!!! Paul has black flower.... i hate this album, really... no offense.... it's ok...
E-MAIL: me, xena
Hey every body , I realy hate to tell you this but Paul is not the walrus John is. I watched this movie all week end I had raed a news paper about Paul really being dead and in there it said that Paul was the walrus but if you watch the movie the walrus is playing the piano and John is the one playing the piano so John is the walrus and he is dead. now any way.
E-MAIL: 1
i think that this album is amazing. my personal fave is "i am the walrus" and "strawberry fields". but at the end of "all you need is love", isn't paul singing 'she loves you yeah yeah yeah', not john singing 'we loved you, yeah yeah yeah'? i can't tell.
E-MAIL: MARILYN MANSON
Xena, you are very wrong. PAUL IS THE WALRUS! Despite what you have read and heard if you were even a beatles fan at all, you would know that PAUL NEVER DIED. In the white album, a certain song called, "glass onion" John clearly sings, "Now here's another clue for them all, the walrus PAUL".
E-MAIL: 1
marilyn, wow! i'm impressed, you actually know something about the band you so fervently hate! now can you answer my question?
E-MAIL: me,xena
For Heck sake!!!!!! I am not as supid as you think I am!!!I know pual is not deid, I was jokeing, learn haow to take a joke! And Pual is not the walrus, If you had half of a brain you would understand that!!!! Go listen to "I am the walrus" and "Glass Onion" and see if you can figure it out!! sorry, I am really stressed, I don't mean to be a brat. Luv ya lots,Xena
E-MAIL: 1
hey, can anyone answer me question??? it's up there!!!
E-MAIL: Xena, Hippy princess
John is the one singing, but I think he sings one of each.
E-MAIL: Spiderman
John is singing, and I think it's "She loves you, YEAH, YEAH YEAH"
E-MAIL: 1
someone told me that it was one of the clues to the infamous "Paul is dead" story. i think that whole thing is a waste of time and energy.
E-MAIL: Spiderman
Yes, it was supposed to be that. But the whole theory just doesn't make sense. How easy is it to find someone who looks like Paul, has the same voice and the same musical talent ?????
E-MAIL: Jimmy Page
I think that the idea that Paul was dead is totally hopeless. It's for people who enjoy a little mystery in what they buy. Overall the entire idea is a complete fallacy. I think I might get converted to the Beatles religion.
E-MAIL: 1
good idea, Jimmy: )
E-MAIL: 1
not to mention, Spiderman, how could you ever find someone who could write like Paul?? that is absolutely impossible.
E-MAIL: me,xena
You guyz are so smart, but if you do a little more research you will know a little more about the stupid story, not that I believe any of it, but I do know a little more about it:*)
E-MAIL: 1
what do you mean..ah, nevermind. i know more about this story than you think i do, but who cares?
E-MAIL: me,xena
no kidding!!!!!It's stupid, I mean duh, any one who thinks paul is really dead is an imbecile!!!
E-MAIL: Jimmy Page
You are all quite right. Paul is alive. I have converted to the Beatles religion. THanks you all for putting up with my mood swings until I felt better. It won't happen again. Hi Xena, 1, and Spiderman........
E-MAIL: Heather
hi, Jimmy! i'm sooo glad you have "converted"! what made you change your mind?
E-MAIL: me,Xena
hey jimmy, I wrote you a letter the other day, and maybe some day even I'll send it:)
E-MAIL: Heather
same goes for me. i always forget to send it off...
E-MAIL: Jimmy Page
I got a Magical Mystery Tour T-shirt today. It is yellow. What a cool shirt. No one really likes the beatles though. I doesn't matter. Well if you ever send your letters I'll send you a tape of me playing the guitar or whatever you want to hear. I don't really sing that well so I dont' know if I will sing. But Norweigon Wood, Blackbird, and many other songs I can play. I will even give you a free copy of an double album that lasts two hours of me and me brother singing. We did it about a year and a half ago-right when I just started playing the guitar. When you listen to it, You'll know why I don't sing. See you . Anyone who wants to right me send to: ..........Samuel Wood.....141 Kelli Circle......Byron, GA 31008.

E-MAIL: Spiderman
I promise that i'll never TOUCH that stuff.
E-MAIL: Jimmy Page
Doesn't that phrase find it's way into the outro of "I am the Walrus"? It sounds like it.
E-MAIL: Jimmy Page
Pink Floyd, "The Wall" and "Alice In Wonderland" go together.
E-MAIL: Spiderman
No, "Dark side of the moon" and Alice in wonderland is supposed to go together, but the members of Pink floyd denies it.
E-MAIL: Jimmy Page
Really? I'm not surprised that they deny it. They denied the rumors about Dark Side Of The Moon and The Wizard Of Oz. Who's left in the band anyway? I think that Roger Waters quit back in 1985 and sued the remaining members. I think David is running the show now.
E-MAIL: Spiderman
I didn't know that Pink Floyd still exists as a band.
E-MAIL: Jimmy Page
I think they still are. THey realeased an album just 2 or 3 years ago. Roger waters quit and sued them back in the 1980s. But, I think Pink Floyd Still exists, the Beatles still exist don't they?
E-MAIL: harmony
-k- listen to the voices in the back ground of i am the walrus and they will say,"Sarah Haslam"

E-MAIL: Spiderman
That's the swedish translation of "Strawberry Fields" It says "Let me take you down, cause i'm going to Strawberry fields, nothing is real, and nothing to get hung about Strawberry fields forever"
E-MAIL: Heather
ooooh! that's really cool...can you translate this phrase for me: "i'm not going to pay a lot for this muffler" [it's a joke me and my friends have going...to tell it to them in swedish would blow them away!]
E-MAIL: Spiderman
Ok, but first tell me what a muffler is.

Waters, Gilmour, Wright and Mason sucked and they still do! SYD BARRETT rocked! Sorry, better pschedelic music by Syd than MMT or Sgt Pepper. Revolver was the best i could ever imagine. But speaking of pure british pop on the one side and pschedelic pop/rock on the other , The Kinks and Barrett were my favourites.
