What can I say about my favorite band. Simple the words are exceptional and the guitar of Johnny Marr simple take you out of this world. ThisThe first album of the band and a good reason to listen the next albums (hateful of hollow is a good second choice)

The Smiths debut release is an unquestionable masterpiece. The blend of Morrisey's stunning emotional and poetic lyrics with Marr's textural, interweaving guitar lines may be the best combo since Lennon/McCartney. "This Charming Man", "Hand In Glove", and "Reel Around The Fountain" are only a few highlights on this amazing LP.

This first album was austere and - seemingly - laid-back as they ever came. Not their best effort, but a compelling album nonetheless.

A pretty good Smiths cd. Not my personal favorite, but ithas some really great songs on it like "This Charming Man"and "Hand In Glove".
