Comments for Thompson, Richard, Hand of Kindness

This was Thompson''s first album since his breakup with his wife. That situation provides inspiration most of the songs here, which are quite angry. This just makes them more powerful. The "big band" sound works very well with these songs, and of course the guitar playing is killer (but what do you expect from RT?).

The title cut is beautiful. I believe both Two Left Feet and Tear-Stained letter were made into country hits byother artists.
