Comments for Throwing Muses, University

University is a masterpiece! I am pushing 50 and have listened to rock music since the mid 60s and I place this CD in my top ten along with a couple of Doors, Led Zep, U2, etc. albums. I bought this one year ago since I just love Bright Yellow Gun. After one year I''m still impressed. Like the range of styles from grunge to 60s style ("That''s All You Wanted"). I have since bought Real Ramona (has an 80s sound) and Hunkpapa (eclectic mix). So far, University tops those two but they are excellent anyway. That''s all I''ve been able to get my hands on. This group is one of the very few that I like anything they''ve ever recorded. Sorry for being long winded, I get passionate about music sometimes!
